PRINCIPALS/ METHOD INSTRUCTORS
Jamison Goodnight was born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey. She earned a BFA in dance performance at SUNY Purchase while simultaneously acquiring her Associates Degree in Business Administration. Ms. Goodnight has had the opportunity of working with renowned choreographers such as Doug Varone, Helen Pickett, Ronen Koresh, and the late Jonathan Phelps. She has also danced and toured with various companies such as KDNY, Nai-Ni Chen, Nicholas Andre, and Take' Dance Company; among others. Jamison enjoys sharing her love for movement by teaching Yoga privately throughout NYC (ig@jamajama_yoga). She is so honored to be working with Nadine Bommer and excited for what the future brings.
Sammy Roth, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, is a dance artist, performance studies scholar, and performing arts manager based in Queens, NY. As a founding member of NBDC NYC, Roth performs, teaches, and acts as company manager for the company, working to share their innovative work. In addition to her time with NBDC, Roth has performed with white road Dance Media, directed by Marisa Green, since 2011. Formerly, she has worked with DanceTheYard and MADArt Creative performatively; Time Lapse Dance, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, and Elsie Management administratively; and Brynne Billingsley & Artists and Megan Bascom & Dancers both performatively and administratively. She holds a BFA in Dance from Ohio University, and is currently pursuing her MA in Performance Studies from NYU. Her research combines critical race theory, movement/dance studies, and affect theory to understand the kinesthetic identity of whiteness. In her rare spare time, Roth runs an Etsy Shop featuring her husband's artwork (Rizza & Co), binge watches tv shows, reads avidly, and plays with her cute cat Gracie.
Maor Shiry Zuriel is the lead soloist in the Nadine Bommer Dance Company and primary instructor of the Nadine Bommer Method. She has established herself in the international dance community as extraordinary and unique, both for her skill at dance and mastery of a specialized technique. A few of her noteworthy performances for distinguished organizations include Premio Roma Danza Competition, the Opus Ballet Festival, the Jin Xing Dance Theatre and the Balleto di Toscana. She is currently the head teacher at the Nadine Bommer Dance Academy in Israel and performs internationally with the company.
